Welcome to Eastern Sky Guiding Services. We are located north east of Langenburg, Saskatchewan Canada, minutes away from the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border. From the Regina airport, we are approximately 2.5 hours east.

We are a family run business with years of experience in hunting and guiding geese, ducks, upland birds and sand hill cranes. We have the latest equipment and decoys for your convenience and enjoyment.

We have two guides, myself, owner operator, Richard Geres and my dad John Geres. I have been an avid hunter all my life and have been guiding for the last 10 years. With encouragement from clients, family and friends, in 2009 I was able to start my own guiding service. Eastern Sky is able to cover services in zones 35, 36 and 37. My operation is on my farm located in Zone 37. Please see Map for visual on zones and my operation location.

My wife Marla Geres is the owner operator of Duck Pond Guesthouse, which is located on the farm as well. Her guesthouse has been accredited by the Saskatchewan Bed and Breakfast Association and open all year round. When hunting with Eastern Sky her accommodations will be booked for you. Hi Everyone

Another quick note from the field. Can't believe I have frozen fingers already! I wish it would warm up just a bit anyways.

I was out the other day filming an episode of our show with a local outfitter, Eastern Sky Guiding Services. We had a GREAT time! I have never hunted with the amount of decoys and with moving ones before. Very neat to see how they worked.
